Faster by Within Temptation (l)
Once upon a time, a poor princess, lost in the crowd, hoping for a hand to rescue her. And she found it, it was so agreable beside, that she believed she had found her strong knight, with a sword to kill pain and a shield to keep sorrow away. Well, it wasn't only a knight but an army. And the princess was just delighted, because she could evolve in a beautiful world full of dreams, of happiness, of friendship. But the end isn't "she lived happy until the end of time", well no! The end is worse, the end is awful, the end is a blend between fear, betrayal and so on. The end is gloomy. Because this army which was a perfect cocoon which turned into a nightmare. The princess was unable to sleep, becoming an intolerant person, she wasn't guilty, she was worn-out. She was still wondering "why"? Crying in her tower all the day along, without understanding, without having rest. She was finally aware of what she had always refused to see, that's say that it was a trap, this army, her army came from hell, didn't belong to heaven, it was worse than a simple nightmare, it was the reality, that she had always wanted to flee...
And worse, if it is possible, because she was focused on what she believed was her army, she forgot to see every knight composing it as a person, and because of that mistake, she couldn't realise that there was a small knight, really discreet who was still here to her, who was here to help her, and she refused to hear what he was saying even though it was marvellous and comforting.
I leart something from this tragedy, it's that no matter how faithful your friends seem to be, something bad can happen, but if it happens, don't forget that a bunch of friends is not an entity. It is composed of persons, and every of this person is different from the others.
